We've been busy!  In the past three months there have been several initiatives to help build firm foundations for the Sun Program:

• Meetings in Wroclaw Poland with the Chairman and Senior Management of SunArk Group to discuss details and costs for the production of the first SunArk as part of Sun in Mauritius in 2015
• Agreement with Civic Resources Group USA and Ireland to provide the cloud based connectivity for Sun worldwide. Using Microsoft’s Azure Cloud and CRG global platform to provide an effective framework for community connectivity, monitoring and big data management.
• Visit to China for discussions with government, industry and academic stakeholders in 5 destinations at different parts of the country and differing travelism elements. Organized by the University of Victoria in Australia, they revealed a massive interest in green growth and travelism generally and for Sun specifically. Discussions continue as to the possible broad scale applicability of the program, pilot opportunities and the financial/operational considerations.
• Agreement with the Ground Up Project to partner with Sun to deliver an SME impact investment framework
• Agreement with Emerging World to develop leadership operational framework and toolkits for Sun Green Growth Centres.
• Agreement with ICTP (International Coalition of Tourism Partners) to link its Green Growth and destination stakeholder’s initiatives to Sun.
• Announcement of the second Green Growth & Travelism Summer School at Hasselt University, Limburg, Belgium on August 24-28 (sponsored by Hasselt and Victoria Universities).
• World Economic Forum blog for WEF Africa featuring Sun as solution to measuring impacts of Travelism, as well as the benefits.
