Clean Aviation 2050 Moonshot Campaign

We are re-iterating our longstanding call for the aviation sector along with fuel suppliers to get with reality and make a commitment to a high ambition Paris 1.5 target of “No GHG emitting aircraft in the skies after 2050”.

This gives us a full quarter-century to play a leadership role and intensify technology and research to earn the operating license for a brighter future for our kids.

We will be making the case that if today’s aviation sector leaders have any true sustainability credentials, they should sign on to our Strong Aviation Moonshot Pledge.

PS. We continue to firmly believe a key element of a Clean Aviation 2050 vision is guaranteed “Essential Air Services” for LDC and SIDS, for tourism & livelihood growth.
